COMMONWEALTH SENIORS HEALTH CARD- (CSHC)  



The following criteria must be met for eligibility:  

  • Not receiving any income support pension or benefit.         
  •  Be of age pension age.      

  • Be living permanently in Australia.

  • Have an adjusted income of less than $50,000 for singles, $80,000 for couples and $100,000 for couples separated by illness.

Please note no asset test requirements exists for the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.

Services the card assists with ;

  • Discount on prescribed medicines.

  • Bulk billed GP appointments.

  • Some rail travel discounts.

  • Other additional health, transport , education and recreation concessions are available by some state, territory and local governments.
